Procedure for reporting Abuse
At Open-Xchange, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all our users. Ensuring that our platforms are free from abuse, phishing, and any other harmful activities is a top priority. For guidance on how to report abuse issues, please use the table below.
The most common types of abuse handled by our Abuse Desk
Abuse can take various forms. The following list explains the most common types of abuse we investigate and the evidence we find useful to support our investigation:

Malware - is software used to disrupt computer operations, gather sensitive data or gain access to private computer systems

If you clicked on a link or downloaded a file from a suspected quishing email, then you should run a virus check on your computer or telephone just to be safe.
Phishing - is a type of fraud with the intent to acquire sensitive information (usernames, passwords, PINs, credit card or bank account details) using fake websites that are almost identical to legitimate ones

Reporting Abuse
If you encounter any form of abuse from our services, we encourage you to report it immediately. We have a dedicated team that handles abuse reports and ensures that appropriate actions are taken. Complaints can be emailed to abuse(at)open-xchange.com with a detailed description of the issue. Please include any evidence that may assist in the investigation.
All cases will be addressed and answered by our Abuse Desk as quickly as possible.
What happens next?
Upon receiving a report of abuse, our team will promptly investigate the matter and take appropriate action. We may reach out to you for further information if necessary.

We understand the importance of confidentiality when reporting abuse. Open-Xchange is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information provided in your abuse report will be used solely for the purpose of investigating and resolving the reported issue.
